This personalised DM pack promoted Symantec’s product, Enterprise Vault File System Archiving and Data Insight.
Its key feature allows an IT dept. to see into their servers more clearly, revealing their data’s relevance to the business, helping them to either keep, archive or delete it, giving operational efficiencies.
We took this feature and created our idea around it. On first glance, the letter was all about the key pain points of not being able to see inside a server’s storage.
Hidden in it were all the product benefits. These were revealed when a UV light (a metaphor for the product itself) was shone over it.
It was a real shining light to help them save money and have a more secure and efficient server.
